Enrichement Club
A small group after-school club billed per student per session — the easiest fit for existing after-school program budgets and PTA funding.

Logistics & Details
Answers to the practical questions administrators always ask — before you even have to ask them.
What I bring
Music stands, picks, ukuleles, and all lesson materials. Students only need to bring their guitar to get started.
Parent communication
I handle all parent-facing communication, enrollment, updates, and progress notes. Your staff stays in the loop without doing the work.
Insurance & background check
General liability insurance is in place. Happy to provide documentation and complete any background check your district requires.
Space requirements
A classroom, multipurpose room, or library space that fits the group comfortably. Chairs with no desk arms preferred. That's it
Cancellation policy
Missed sessions due to school closures or holidays are rescheduled where possible or credited. I give 48 hours notice for any instructor cancellation.
Payment processing
I invoice your school directly as an outside vendor on a monthly basis — no new systems or apps for parents. For schools that prefer direct parent billing, I use Venmo for Business. Either way, I handle all payment communication so your staff doesn't have to.
Before I ever taught a private music lesson, I spent years in classrooms.
From 2016 to 2023 I served as Program Director of Music Education at Holy Spirit School in Fairfield, a private K–8 campus where I designed the music curriculum from scratch, ran structured classes for groups of up to 12 students, and directed student concerts and workshops. I've also taught as a Foreign Language Teacher for the French Ministry of Education, collaborating with classroom teachers across 4 schools to design and deliver lessons for students ages 5–11.
In total I've spent 8+ years teaching in structured school environments, public, private, and abroad, with groups ranging from 2 to 30 students. I understand the rhythm of a school day, how to work alongside existing staff rather than around them, and what it takes to keep a room full of kids genuinely engaged week after week.
My guitar and ukulele programs bring that same classroom discipline to music, structured enough that students make real progress, and fun enough that they look forward to coming back.

What grade levels do you teach?
I work best with grades 2nd – 8th. Ukulele tends to be a great fit for younger students (2nd – 4th) while guitar works well from around 3rd grade onward. Both instruments are flexible depending on the group.
Do students need any prior music experience?
Not at all. Programs are designed from the ground up for beginners, though I can adapt to groups with mixed experience levels.
Can we start mid-year or does it have to be fall?
Mid-year starts are absolutely possible. I can tailor the program length to whatever remains of your school year or begin a full year-round program at any point.
What if enrollment is lower than expected?
The Enrichment Club requires a minimum of 3 students to run. If enrollment drops below that mid-semester, we'll discuss options, I'd rather find a solution than cancel on kids who signed up.
Who collects payment from parents?
For the Enrichment Club format, the school typically collects from parents and pays me as a vendor. For Classroom Integration, the school pays directly. I'm flexible on billing arrangements.
